| Bio: | By the time Max's magical ability was discovered, he'd ran away from home. He remained a street rat on his own, showing up for magical training, then earning his stole, then starting to hire out as security for items that need to be transported or personal bodyguard, in particular in situations that require a full wizard's participation. His pick are high-risk jobs, and he does exremely well in keeping both himself and the assignments reasonably safe. After several highly commendable one-off jobs for Stephen LaMarck he's offered permanent employment at the company the latter's recently headed; ending at the position of Head of Security. With time, the unexpectedly-functional working relationship moves into cautious friendship. And occasional invitations to Stephen and his wife's bed, which in turn end up strengthening the bond between them into trust and a solid friendship. Max also meets Claudia Gates-Jones, with whom they end up developing a relationship emphatically more than just physical. Within months of each, admissions are made for mutual affection with Dia and with Stephen. --- Max is a relatively large, well-muscled man with an apparently friendly disposition, tendency to talk too much and let out many wisecracks, with only moderate amount of relevance bewteen them and the situation at times. However, he is highly skilled at his work, and once he gives his loyalty, he will not bertay it. He's also basically bisexual, enjoys romps (on the other hand, that stays AWAY from his work) and it shows. He's flirtatious and open. On the other hand, he leaves no illusions about intending to commit - until he does, and then the flirts remain absolutely harmless unless there's prior arrangement with either of the two people he loves.
